Atomic CRM gives small teams a full contacts, deals and tasks CRM for free, open source and hosted wherever they like

Atomic CRM

A free, open-source CRM you own outright and can reshape to fit how you sell

Most small teams pick a CRM and then bend their sales process to fit it. Atomic CRM flips that. It is a complete, working CRM out of the box, with contacts and companies, notes, tasks with reminders, a drag-and-drop deal pipeline and an activity log of everything that happened with each account. Because it is open source under the MIT license, every field, screen and workflow can be changed to match how you really sell.

It comes from Marmelab, a studio in Nancy, France, best known for react-admin, the open-source framework for building admin apps. When Marmelab introduced Atomic CRM in 2024, founder François Zaninotto and the team framed it as a middle path between rigid off-the-shelf CRMs and costly custom builds.

Where it shines

Ownership. Your data lives in your own Supabase project or on your own servers, and there is no per-seat pricing, so adding the whole team costs nothing extra. Thoughtful touches make daily use easy: CC the CRM on an email and it becomes a note on the contact, avatars fill in automatically, and you can sign in with Google, Azure, Keycloak or Auth0. There is an API, a mobile app for notes on the go, and an MCP server so you can ask an AI assistant about your pipeline in plain language. It even ships with an AI harness for Claude Code, so a teammate can describe a change and have it built.

The best way to start

Click through the live demo on the Atomic CRM site to get a feel for the pipeline and contact views. When you like what you see, clone the repo and follow the deployment docs, which take you from Supabase setup to a live app with a couple of commands. If nobody on your team wants to touch code, Marmelab offers a Setup Week where its CRM specialists scope your process and deploy a tailored version for you.

A real CRM with no seat count and no lock-in, shaped around the way you actually sell.
